My Little Workspace

Mac software is always excel in it’s artistic and functionality aspects over it’s window and linux counterpart, it’s always a joy using a mac software and with the introduction of Mac OS Leopard, Mac developer have more technology to play with, below is the upcoming beta mac software that sound very promising.
But beware, most of them are sill in beta stage and some of them can only be download through invitation only, use them at your own risk.

Iphone, it’s the Jesus phone that everyone at Malaysia have been waiting for it to arrive at Malaysia, but, come on, Singapore, Philippines, and no Malaysia? But wait, if you asked me, isn’t many people already own an iphone at Malaysia, it’s true, but it’s hardly an easy way, first, you either have to buy the first generation iphone which have been hacked until skinless, secondly, you can buy the new Iphone 3G, but only unlocked version, which is damn expensive, it’s around Rm1905 for 8 GB at New Zealand Vodafone shope , or at iworld at RM3099, you cannot buy a hacked version because iphone 3G hasn’t been successfully hacked yet. So, for the poor guy like me, the only way is to wait for the official subsidized version for around RM1000 (hopefully).
So, what the hell I mention that the newly launch Apple Malaysia Online Store give some hope for the arriving of iphone 3G to Malaysia, well, this is just personal instincts, Firstly, maybe Apple Malaysia Set-up a Store first as a warm up for the iphone announcement, at the same time, testing the market for Apple products at Malaysia.
Secondly, it’s rare that Apple will suddenly set-up an Online Store at Malaysia where it’s a land that Apple don’t care much about, maybe they realize that Malaysia is a gold mines and began to appreciated it ?
Thirdly, usually they will set up Online Store first before the launch of the Iphone, like Singapore Apple Online Store, which is make much more sense since they need to promote Iphone through their own online store first.
Lastly, Malaysia have more people than Singapore, I guess this one doesn’t count cause Singapore People’s income is higher than Malaysian, Oppss….Sorry.
So, with all these hopes, iphone is no doubt is coming to Malaysia, yeahhh, sorry, I am an Apple fans, so PC fans don’t throw banana at me.

Finally, Aperture 2.0!
I am a big fans of Apple software, especially Aperture, first of all, photography is my hobby, as if a lot of us
Because I capture a lot of images, i tend to leave it after finish, so, I need a software to temporarily store all my photo, so, Aperture come in handy. Aperture 2 adds more than 100 new features, a streamlined user interface and a new image processing engine. New imaging tools have been added, like vibrancy, recover highlight, and do soft-edged retouching and vignetting, but the most important is that Apple provide a SDK for the image adjustment engine to open up whole new world to developer to create new adjustment tools for user.
The most important and most cared by most user is the speed improvement over the last version, and Aperture 2 definitely nail it, so how they do it, they completely change the underlying database system, so, aperture 1 library will not compatible with Aperture 2 library.
One of the feature that I am dying to try s the Tethered shooting feature, which allow you to shoot live photograph by connecting your camera to your computer through USB cable, but unfortunately, I didn’t have my DSLR for now, So I had to wait another few week before I can try my hand on that..
WHooss, that more than 100 new enhancement to the new Aperture, wish I have time to explore it further.

Well, who can thought that a slideshow program that create an slideshow can also help publish your slideshow to the infamous “YouTube”, well, it’s turn out that Keynote can do that, it can help you to publish you keynote onto the internet with 3 click, this is the power of apple software, this is what apple is famous fork, which is the detail that make the whole experience richer and surprisingly happier.
